Project Jonah
Project Jonah, the whale questline, was added in Update 5.0 on June 24, 2026.
How to start
At Platform Omega, find the control room beneath the platform. Connect one fully grown human to the control socket, then send the call out to sea. A Human Seed is not enough.

What to do
Connect a grown human and send the sea call to start Project Jonah.
Once Project Jonah starts, the whale dives to collect oil from the seabed and returns after filling up.
Omega Nursery is another quest at Platform Omega.

The control room is in a shaft in front of Tower 4. Retrieving the inserted growth pod can be difficult, so avoid using a human who is important to your Council.

Friendly by Design

How to start
Scanning a deceased Sweetheart starts Friendly by Design. Completing the task lets you craft Sweethearts.

The current documented target is 10 deceased Sweethearts; in Update 03 it was 25. Follow the count in your own quest log. The later 10/10 screen is from July 11, 2026, before Update 5.5.

Star Child / True Choices
Update 03 introduced the Star Child questline on March 18, 2026.
How to start
After obtaining the Star Child memory, True Choices presents two objectives: grow the “perfect” human and launch them into space, or recycle the Gold Standard memory. These are separate paths offered by the quest.

Update 03 added the Council of Humanity location and committee system. Humans sent into space can take Council seats and act through Council terminals.
How to start
The Council door requires an orbital representative: a human you have launched into space.

Enter the council chamber, then continue to Seats of Care, which involves forming a Habitat Care committee and assigning members.

In recent versions, the Council door can still display "No orbital representative assigned" and stay locked even after you launch a human. This looks like a bug.

Unlisted Tower is at approximately 113, -21 on the in-game map grid, about 4.8 km east-northeast of Lazarus Complex. The Isolation objective is to reach the tower's summit. Climb to the top of Unlisted Tower. A radio message then leads into Quarantine Stacks and the journey to Quarantine Stack AMEN.
How many Sweethearts do you scan for Friendly by Design?
