Humans
The Last Caretaker Committees: All 10 Committees, the Humans Each Needs and How to Seat Them
The Last Caretaker has 10 committees in three tiers, and each needs four grown humans aged 18 or older, one of each listed profession. A committee starts working once all four seats are filled. Seats go to humans you have launched into space, through the Council of Humanity inside Lazarus Complex.
Committee Planner
Tick each profession you already have in space, aged 18 or older. The planner shows which committees are full and which humans each one still needs, with a link to plan that human.
0 of 10 committees full.
Humans still needed: 40

Your ticks stay in the address bar, so you can bookmark or share the plan. Committee members are confirmed: the same four professions for every committee, checked against game 0.8.5.

Each committee has four seats, one for each of its four professions, and starts working only once all four are filled.
No profession sits on two committees: the ten committees list all 40 professions once each.
Profession levels: the wiki groups the 40 professions into levels 1 to 4, and the game 0.8.5 data shows the same level for every committee member.
See what food and memory items each profession needs in the human recipe guide, and check a planned human in the Lazarus Human Calculator.
How to Assign Humans to a Committee
- Grow a human for each of the committee's four professions. The planner above links each one to its recipe.
- Wait until each of them is at least 18.
- Launch them into space from Exodus Station; the rocket needs fuel, covered in the fuel guide.
- Seat them through the Council terminals in the Council of Humanity. A committee starts working once all four seats are filled.
Update 03 added the Council of Humanity and its committee system. Humans you send into space can take Council seats and act through the Council terminals.
Every committee member must be at least 18.
The Council of Humanity is inside Lazarus Complex.
The Council Door and the Orbital Representative
The Council door needs an orbital representative: a human you have launched into space.
The quest that leads there is The Council of Humanity. If the door stays locked after a launch, see the notes that are not confirmed yet below. For doors with a shield and a number, see the security level guide.
Committee Quests
Habitat Care offers the quest True Choices.
In The Forbidden Fruit, Habitat Care asks you to grow pears and send them to space.
Not confirmed yet
One human may sit on at most three committees.
Echoes for Orbit may be a Cognitive Resilience quest and Before the Archives a Culture & Memory quest, with Child of the Orchard as a Habitat Care reward.
The quest Seats of Care may have you form a Habitat Care committee and assign its members.
The wiki says the orbital representative is assigned automatically once your first humans are old enough.
The Council door can still say "No orbital representative assigned" after a launch, which looks like a bug.
Members may take their seats on the next real-world day, when Days in Space changes from 0 to 1.
