The Last Caretaker Black Vein Station: Location, Oil Pump and Locked Room

Black Vein Station is an oil rig at sea, at map coordinates 49, -70.

Power Navigation Beacon 15 to reveal Black Vein Station on the map.

The wiki lists Green and Orange Cocoons, Green Crawlers, Mosquitoes, Pink and Red Slimes and an Arch Angel at the station.

Black Vein Station has an oil pump, so you can collect oil there.

Two petrol tanks and two diesel tanks are already built at the station.

The wiki says the pump needs only power and somewhere to store oil, and that it can stop now and then even when the oil containers are not full.

Keep the oil line closed from pump to tank: an open hose end anywhere on the line spills the oil into the sea. Open ports on connectors do not leak.

There are two ways to run it: pump the crude oil into tanks on your boat and refine it somewhere else, or put a Distillation Tower up on the rig itself and pipe the diesel and petrol down to the boat.

Feed oil and electricity into a Distillation Tower to produce both diesel and petrol.

The Distillation Tower is listed at skill level 20.

The tower makes far more diesel than petrol, about 10 to 1, and stops as soon as either side is full. Give both outputs enough tanks, or unplug the side you have too much of.

Both diesel and petrol outlets need somewhere for their output to go. If either side fills up, the Distillation Tower stops; check both output connections and their available storage.

The wiki recommends building at least one Medium Battery and a Solar Panel on the rig, because the elevator draws a lot of power.

You can run power cables straight down the lift, fixing the connectors to its metal back and bending the cable away from the lift at the top and bottom.

One room on the main level stays locked even when the whole station is powered. Get in from below: go down the stairs at the side of that building into the small rooms underneath and climb up through a hole in the ceiling.

There is a hidden room low on the concrete tower: swim into the open area about four fifths of the way down and look up for a small square opening.
